My guess is he does. Our dear leader told an audience in Argentina last week that there’s really no difference between capitalism and communism, that societies should just be practical and choose what works. It’s really that easy.
I’m a results-oriented kind of person. And the results could not be more stark. Communism has resulted in oppression, widespread murder, gulags, poverty, tyranny, fear, totalitarianism. Capitalism has resulted in freedom, autonomy, wealth, and a relatively high standard of living for anyone willing to work. There really is an enormous difference. History is what it is.
