Yesterday Ted Cruz won Wisconsin’s primary handily, taking nearly 50% of the vote and capturing 36 delegates to Donald Trump’s 6. This makes Trump’s road to the nomination a little bumpier. To date, The Donald has claimed 743 out of 1,590 delegates, or 46.7%. In order to reach 1,237, he will have to secure at least 494 out of the remaining 883, or 55.9%. Cruz would need 720 more delegates, or 81.5%. Trump still has the clearest path, but needs at least a couple of big wins soon to help his cause.
