Today was our neighborhood spring yard sale. My wife and I were out there early and managed to shed a few more items we regarded as non-essential. Some things we actually marked “free” and gave away just to be unburdened. My wife and I joked that this was our last yard sale. We really have nothing else to sell. We have unloaded an incredible amount of clutter the last year and a half and have pretty well whittled it down to just the essentials. There may still be a few odds and ends, but nothing to make a decent yard sale. (One of our customers today marveled that we can park two cars in the garage. You’d be surprised how few homeowners with a two-car garage can actually fit two cars.) I guess we’ll continue to chip away and discard things here and there, but it looks like our yard sale days may be over.
Also, we received two compliments on our Trump sign.
