How many Democrat voters actually believe this?

On Friday, Secretary of State John Kerry asserted that air conditioners and refrigerators pose as big a threat to “life on the planet” as the threat of terrorism. (link) I don’t even blink an eye at this stuff anymore. I don’t bother trying to refute these claims scientifically, because climate change isn’t about science. It’s purely political.

I question whether John Kerry actually believes this. I question whether statists in general believe their tall tales of climate doom. You see, climate change is just a means to an end. It is a giant hoax perpetrated by the left in order to expand government, raise taxes and curtail individual liberty. If the statists who propagate the hoax actually believed their silly notions, you would think they’d be leading the way to make the lifestyle reductions they demand of the rest of us. But you’ll never see John Kerry cut back his use of air conditioning a single degree. That’s what he expects us to do, but the rules don’t apply to him.

My curiosity lies in just how many sheep actually buy into the climate change hoax. How many Democrat voters genuinely believe air conditioning is just as dangerous as ISIS? I am sure there are some. Democrat voters are extremely gullible and will believe just about anything their leaders tell them, no matter how fanciful. Still, I have to wonder what percentage of the voting base believes what John Kerry said.
