Christmas Eve political musings

November 7 was Trump Eve. December 24 is Christmas Eve. December 31 is New Year’s Eve. January 19 is MAGA Eve.

Nancy Pelosi and her husband own a vineyard in California. I hear they are expecting a bumper crop of sour grapes this time around.

Barack Obama isn’t going to attend Trump’s inauguration on January 20. That’s all well and good. I wouldn’t want him or his bitter half there to sully the event. I would love it if Trump, immediately after taking the oath, opened a folder there on the podium and signed an executive order repealing all of Obama’s executive orders. Then he could say, “There! We’ve just taken a giant first step toward making America great again.” It would be a well-deserved slap in the face to the outgoing man-child.

For the first time in eight years, I’m going to be really proud of our First Lady.

If you’ve ever wondered how to differentiate #fakenews from real news, there’s an easy method. Just automatically assume that everything you hear from the mainstream press and Democrat Party is #fakenews. You’ll be right way more often than you’re wrong.

Even though Vladimir Putin is ex-KGB and probably always a communist at heart, he has shown himself to be far classier than your average Democrat.

The Obama administration continues to slap Israel in the face. Hang in there, Israel. In 27 days things are going to be far different. Until that time, Benjamin Netanyahu will continue to be the de facto leader of the free world.

The Democrat Party is clearly the minority party in America and liberalism is a cloistered ideology. (By cloistered ideology, I mean that the politicians who enact liberal policies — and the entertainers who advocate them — rarely have to live with the consequences.) Yet Democrats continue to act like winners and Republicans too often act like losers. This has got to change. Republicans, please, start treating Democrats like the losers they are. Assert yourselves. You keep winning elections, after all. Act like it.

My pastor believes the eventual one-world religion prophesied in Scripture will be an amalgam of Catholicism and Islam. If you pay attention at all to world events, there is evidence of this already playing out.

What do action on climate change and ObamaCare have in common? Faulty premise, more government, higher taxes, lies from politicians, loss of individual liberty, and both are completely unnecessary.

Merry Christmas, everyone. And if that offends you, then Merry Christmas.
